Hi, I'm Kendie! As an occupational therapist and the director of My OT & Me, I am passionate about making a real impact on the lives of participants and consumers.

Over the past decade, I've worked across various health and disability sectors. My focus has always been on individuals living in the community. Through first hand experience, I have witnessed the challenges participants and consumers face while navigating the NDIS space. Advocating for those who are disadvantaged is the core of what I do.

In 2023, I followed my heart and launched My OT and Me. Our mission is to support our vulnerable community, with a special emphasis on empowering women and their families. We are big advocates for enhancing your quality of life and helping you achieve your goals.

Director and Principal Occupational Therapist

Kendie

Hi, I'm Kendie and I am an occupational therapist and the director of My OT and Me. As an experienced occupational therapist, I am passionate about helping participants achieve their highest level of independence. This is targeted through a holistic approach to therapy and a keen focus on client-centred care. I have a strong interest in supporting women and their families, as well as areas including Assistive Technology and Complex Home Modifications.

My role also includes leading and supporting my small team of occupational therapists, helping them guide participants through the complexities of the NDIS. Together, we work to empower participants to achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.

Maggie

Hi, my name is Maggie and I am an occupational therapist at My OT and Me. I am extremely passionate about OT and what this profession can offer participants to support them to achieve their goals and thrive in day to day living. Throughout my career I have worked with a variety of consumer presentations in the acute and community setting. Amongst my previous roles I have worked with various client presentations, that include:

Cognitive dysfunction, Dementia, Parkinson’s Disease

Vascular conditions (i.e. amputees), Neurological conditions (i.e. CVA, TBI), Orthopaedic conditions (i.e. oseteoarthritis)
Respiratory conditions (i.e. COPD), Cancer services and
Palliative care.

Renee

Hi, my name is Renee and throughout my career, I have built a strong passion for working collaboratively with consumers to provide recovery-focused support with a special interest in Mental Health. Throughout my career, I have worked alongside a variety of consumers in the acute and community setting and have gained an array of experience through working in a range of unique roles. Throughout these roles I developed a strong passion for recovery, psychosocial support, graded group work, trauma informed care and sensory modulation. I have experience working with a range of clinical presentations, including but not limited to:

Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorder, Bipolar, Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders, Personality Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Depressive Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Hi, my name is Ana and I provide the admin support at My OT and Me. I have a background in aged care and nursing and have enjoyed this career change, supporting a group of like minded women and OT's.

We offer a range of NDIS services which include: FCA's, Home and Living Reports, Capacity Building, Assistive Technology trials and Home Modifications.

With our small team of experienced OT's, we ensure we choose the right therapist that aligns with you and your NDIS goals.
